FEED YOUR BODY AND SOUL AT THE GRAND RAPIDS FOODIE FEST!

When the First Annual Grand Rapids Foodie Fest comes to Calder Plaza, at 300 Ottawa Ave NW in Grand Rapids, from July 1-3, you’ll find nourishment for your body and soul. This delightful gustatory event features all kinds of delectable local cuisines, live music and dance, plus exquisite wares from many of the city’s merchants! It’s a big, exciting, engaging three-day weekend, with free admission, proudly presented by Where At GR, a community-based entertainment company located in the heart of Grand Rapids. The Foodie Fest is the vision of Amanda Hadd and Taia Vinson, the founders of Where At GR. These entrepreneurial, young women seek to boost the local Grand Rapids economy by showcasing the immense value of the local food industry, businesses, corporations, and the undeniable talents of its hometown artists and performers. The Grand Rapids Foodie Fest is a culturally diverse, family-friendly gathering with something for patrons of all ages and backgrounds!

Your Grand Rapids Foodie Fest weekend includes a finely curated selection of food and drink, amidst local vendor exhibits, and live shows in a variety of musical genres and styles. Drawing on their past successes hosting more than 15 “Food Tours”, Ms. Hadd and Ms. Vinson are ready to treat your palate to a veritable smorgasbord of West Michigan offerings, all at affordable prices that put the entrees and libations within the reach of all. Keeping the community connected is a major goal of Where At GR, and what better way to accomplish this, than by breaking bread and enjoying a beautiful summer day or evening on the Calder with an expected attendance of over 10,000 of your neighbors. Among the food vendors, local vendor exhibits, and entertainment stages, you’ll find giveaways and activities to make your trip to the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest a unique and memorable experience.

The Grand Rapids Foodie Fest will be held from 3-10 PM on Friday, July 1, 11 AM-10 PM on Saturday, July 2, and from 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, July 3.
